INTCO Medical Brings Summer Care to Seniors with Community Outreach Event

On July 13, INTCO Medical partnered with Zhenjiang Xingrui Nursing Home to host a summer outing for 36 elderly residents under the theme “Exploring Summer, Enjoying the Cool.” The event featured nature walks and interactive activities, allowing the seniors to experience the beauty of the outdoors while feeling the warmth of community care. INTCO Medical provided professional wheelchairs and summer protection supplies throughout the event, exemplifying its core values of compassion and social responsibility.

Due to limited indoor space and the heat of summer, seniors often have fewer opportunities for outdoor activities. This outing offered a refreshing break from the routine. Strolling along a shaded lakeside path, some seniors rode in INTCO wheelchairs, while others were accompanied by volunteers. Amid the trees and lake views, laughter and heartfelt conversations filled the air.

To ensure safety and comfort, INTCO Medical equipped each participant with a wheelchair. In addition, cooling gel patches, mosquito repellent patches, and instant cold packs were provided on-site to help mitigate the discomfort of high temperatures and insect bites, allowing the elderly to enjoy a safe and pleasant outdoor experience.
