INTCO Medical and JD Health Forge Strategic Partnership to Develop New Physiotherapy Care Ecosystem
On April 9, during the 91st China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), INTCO Medical and JD Health signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to leverage both parties’ strengths in product development and platform resources to co-create high-end customized products through the C2M (Customer-to-Manufacturer) model. Additionally, they plan to explore innovative “Internet + Healthcare” service models, build a new medical protection ecosystem, and enhance user health protection experiences.
The signing ceremony was attended by Enlin Jin, CEO of JD Health and member of JD Group’s SEC Committee, and Frank Liu, Founder and Chairman of INTCO Medical.
JD Health expressed: “We are committed to collaborating with upstream and downstream industry chains through technological applications and model innovations, covering users’ needs across all scenarios and the entire health service process. In 2025, we hope to continue working with INTCO Medical to achieve rapid growth of new explosive products and to have deeper co-construction in the omni-channel field, allowing more high-quality medical health products and services to truly benefit thousands of households nationwide, creating greater value and achieving higher quality business growth.”
INTCO Medical stated: “Five years ago, with the original intention of ‘making protection more professional and accessible,’ we began our cooperation with JD Health. The collaboration between INTCO Medical and JD Health is a deep resonance of technological genes and platform resources, and even more, a consensus move to promote medical inclusiveness. Today’s strategic signing marks a new starting point for deepening our cooperation. INTCO Medical will continue to work hand in hand with JD Health, using technological innovation to enhance product strength, and an open ecosystem to expand service capabilities, jointly building a reliable health defense line for consumers.”
INTCO Medical is dedicated to the research, production, and marketing of medical device consumables, with products exported to over 120 countries and regions, making it China’s largest disposable glove manufacturer. JD Health’s business scope includes health product marketing and sales, medical health services, enterprise health solutions, and smart medical solutions, covering the entire pharmaceutical health industry chain, medical processes, health scenarios, and users’ entire life cycles. In 2020, INTCO Medical launched the “INTCO Medical Devices JD Self-Operated Flagship Store,” primarily selling medical protective equipment. Over the past five years, INTCO Medical’s sales on the JD platform have continued to grow, with an annual compound growth rate exceeding 50%, and a 238% increase in sales in 2024 compared to 2023.
This signing is a continuation of the longstanding friendly cooperation between the two parties. In 2025, INTCO Medical plans to continue strengthening its professional advantages in the field of medical protection, relying on JD Health’s big data and user feedback to iterate existing products, providing higher standard safety protection products for medical health and industrial protection fields. Additionally, the company aims to accelerate the expansion of consumer-grade products for home and personal scenarios.
This year, INTCO Medical’s focus is on three main areas: product innovation-driven development, global industrial marketing layout, and dual-track empowerment of “medical + consumer.” The JD platform is one of INTCO Medical’s important domestic online marketing channels, and strengthening cooperation with JD Health aligns with INTCO Medical’s strategic direction.
Health protection is related to people’s quality of life, and the health consumer market is showing diversified and refined characteristics. INTCO Medical will establish closer connections with partners, improve supply chains and marketing networks, meet more users’ health protection needs, and safeguard people’s lives.
